Both music and art are gifts from God and have been used to praise and worship Him since His own original masterpiece—the Creation! At Our Savior Lutheran we love to rejoice in the beautiful truths of Scripture and encourage children in their creativity through the arts. Our camp runs the last week of July each year. Monday through Thursday evenings are spent exploring instruments, learning songs, and creating beautiful art centered on our theme for the year. On Friday evening we have our Camp Showcase where parents, family, and friends are invited to stay for a brief music concert and an art gallery that we set up in our fellowship hall. Hot dogs and other refreshments included! This year’s camp theme is ‘Christ Begins’ and focuses on a hymn of the same name which highlights four important events in the life of Jesus: His Baptism, First Miracle, Transfiguration, and Ascension!
